Black No Coke

By Ric

I would ride a Zebrakenko from Jersey to Spanish Harlem just to bear witness to something special going on... I knew it from the moment I started exploring the city with them. Closing out the bars. Spending every last penny. Drinking every last drop. Early twenties, never getting laid. Manhattan is too sophisticated for the type of drunk I got.

From the writer of this masterpiece, "Its basically a song about the guys living together in the city at a time where we were young and trying to figure things out. I saw my time in the city as sort of starting a fresh chapter and I saw the same in those guys. I guess it's about letting another side of you free and sometimes to do that, you need a different setting."
